Meeting with the CEO of the National Iranian Petrochemical Company
The Acting head of Kermanshah Petrochemical Industries Company also met and held talks with hassan Abbaszadeh, CEO of the National Iranian Petrochemical Company, on the sidelines of this event. In this meeting, the latest status of the country’s petrochemical industry, capacities for joint cooperation, and the role of petrochemical complexes in supporting domestic production and knowledge-based companies were discussed and exchanged.
Negotiations with knowledge-based companies and domestic manufacturers
Dr. Kiani visited the booths of several knowledge-based companies and domestic manufacturers, engaging in discussions with their CEOs and closely following the progress of joint projects, technical capabilities, equipment localization capacities, and the mutual needs of the industry and domestic producers.
In these meetings, he emphasized Kermanshah Petrochemical’s readiness to expand technological collaborations, support innovative ideas, and maximize the use of domestic capabilities.

The second day of the seventh specialized exhibition and conference on oil, gas, refining, and petrochemicals, with an approach supporting domestic production, witnessed active and program-oriented participation by Kermanshah Petrochemical Industries Company, along with serious follow-up on technological, banking, and industrial axes.

Signing of 3 Memorandums of Understanding on the Path of Localization and Sustainable Development
One of the most important events on the second day was the signing of three cooperation memorandums in strategic areas of the petrochemical industry as follows:
- *A cooperation memorandum with the Iran Federation of Petroleum Industry aimed at joint efforts to manage and reduce the carbon footprint in the petrochemical industry and utilize carbon credit capacity, in line with the global movement against global warming.
- *A cooperation memorandum with Arya Ofogh Fiyar Company (Smart Catalyst) for the localization of the ammonia unit synthesis reactor catalyst and the development of bilateral cooperation in key technologies was signed.
- Additionally, a cooperation memorandum with Semnan Energy Chemical Company was signed to develop strategic technologies and localize the production of chemical materials.
These memorandums represent an effective step towards reducing dependency, enhancing domestic technological capabilities, and the targeted movement of the petrochemical industry towards sustainable development.
Extensive interaction with knowledge-based companies and domestic suppliers
On the second day of the exhibition, interaction with domestic manufacturing companies, knowledge-based companies, and suppliers of materials and equipment was one of the main focuses of Kermanshah Petrochemical’s programs.
In this regard, domestic and knowledge-based companies visited the company’s booth and held negotiations regarding cooperation methods, receiving initial specifications, and completing self-declaration forms to enter the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
This process, which began on the first day of the exhibition, is pursued as a continuous procedure throughout the exhibition and plays an important role in organizing and developing the company’s domestic supply chain.
Meeting with banking and capital market managers
Preliminary discussions were also held with CEOs and representatives of banks and capital market experts regarding cooperation methods and issues related to project financing.
Alongside these meetings, meeting and dialogue with media representatives and explaining the approaches, programs, and actions of Kermanshah Petrochemical Industries Company in the fields of domestic manufacturing, localization, and technology development formed another part of the day’s programs.

It is worth mentioning that the seventh specialized exhibition and conference on oil, gas, refining, and petrochemicals, with an approach to supporting domestic manufacturing, with the presence of more than 250 active industrial, petrochemical, refining, and knowledge-based companies, and with the aim of showcasing the latest domestic achievements, developing industrial interactions, and strengthening the national production chain, was held from February 15 to 17 at Kish International Exhibition and Conference Center.
