Pardis Petrochemical has won a four-star certificate of appreciation from this prestigious national award in the 11th Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award, which was held at the Olympic Hotel in Tehran. It was held with the presence of senior managers of the industry.
Hassan Abbaszadeh, Deputy Minister of Oil and CEO of the National Petrochemical Industries Company, emphasized the importance of this award at the ceremony and said: “The successful presence of petrochemical companies in various fields has led this industry towards excellence and progress. The goal of these companies should be to increase the quantity and quality of activities for a strong presence in domestic and international competitions.” Referring to the priorities of this period of the Excellence Award, he added: “In this period, the productivity of production factors, including optimal use of feed, energy optimization, and completion of the value chain, were among the most important evaluation criteria.”
Pardis Petrochemical, which participated in this assessment again after a few years, was able to demonstrate a favorable performance by relying on strong infrastructure, strategic planning, and advanced operational systems such as ERP.
The evaluators listed high engineering capabilities, employee empowerment, and commitment to social and environmental responsibilities as the company’s most important strengths. At the same time, some areas for improvement, including increasing system integration, agility in implementing improvement projects, managing creativity and innovation, and managing the risk of development projects, were also noted by the evaluators.
The Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award was launched in 2009 with the aim of identifying, introducing and appreciating the top companies in this industry. By creating a competitive environment based on creativity and innovation, this award encourages petrochemical companies to conduct self-assessment, identify strengths and continuously improve. It also provides a platform for exchanging successful experiences and developing management capabilities in the petrochemical industry. In the 11th edition of this award, 40 companies out of 67 companies competed in the main section, and Pardis Petrochemical was able to be among the top companies of this edition with its favorable performance.
