Shazand Petrochemical Company, through its positive performance and the efforts of its management team and employees, was upgraded from the second market to the *First Market Board of the Stock Exchange*—an achievement considered significant for “Sharāk.”
Abbas Karimi, CEO of Shazand Petrochemical, announced that the company’s nominal production capacity is 1.65 million tons and that, despite restrictions arising from wartime conditions, passive defense measures, and major overhauls, the production decline in 2025-2026 fiscal year was limited to approximately 7 percent.
He also announced the upgrading of the A80 hydrocarbon product to A92 grade, saying that process improvements had increased the production capacity of this product from 400 tons to more than 600 tons per day.
Referring to approximately 43 percent growth in operating profit last year, Karimi emphasized continuing efforts to increase productivity, improve production processes, and manage costs arising from increased feedstock prices.
The CEO of Shazand Petrochemical also described the media as monitors of companies’ performance and called for technical, fair, and precise criticism to help correct and improve the performance of production entities..
