A global engineering milestone
KPRC achieved a notable engineering milestone by successfully carrying out Hot Tap operations on the national ethylene pipeline.
The operation, described by the company as the first of its kind in the world, was completed without interrupting the operation of the existing pipeline and demonstrated the technical capabilities of Iranian engineers in executing complex pipeline work under operating conditions.
Expanding polymer production and diversifying products
The company has also continued the development of its polymer production phases and diversification of its product portfolio.
Completion of three development phases, together with the contribution of subsidiaries such as Negin Mahestan Kangan and Soroush Mahestan Assaluyeh, has strengthened the group’s position in the production of ethylene, light and heavy polyethylene.
The addition of warm LPG to the group’s export portfolio has further expanded its range of marketable products and strengthened its presence in international markets.
Localization and domestic manufacturing
Localization of equipment has been another major area of focus.
According to the company, more than 7,000 sensitive refinery components have been manufactured domestically by Iranian specialists, helping reduce reliance on foreign suppliers and maintain operations despite international sanctions.
Beyond its industrial impact, the localization program has supported the development of domestic engineering and manufacturing capabilities, while contributing to entrepreneurship and employment.
A focus on corporate social responsibility
Kangan Petro-Refining Holding has also identified corporate social responsibility as an important part of its development strategy.
The company has participated in projects aimed at improving medical and welfare infrastructure in the surrounding region, including the development and equipping of hospital departments and healthcare facilities.

Environmental protection and sustainable development
