In an interview with Rahbord Energy at the company’s booth at the 7th Kish Domestic Manufacturing Exhibition, Babak Kouhi, CEO of Petroteam, stated about the activities and services of his company: Petroteam was founded nearly 47 years ago, and since its inception, we have collaborated with reputable companies in the field of energy projects, and so far we have been able to carry out many projects in this field.
Kouhi added: The projects carried out by Petroteam include compressor, pump, expander, USU and utility units. In the field of compressors, we are among the companies that produce on par with first-class brands and modern technology in the world. In the field of service and optimization projects, our three subsidiary companies are active in the service sector. We are also active in reverse engineering of components, manufacturing optimization, Energy optimization, and rotatry equipment repairs.
The CEO of Petroteam continued: “We are active in the field of rotary equipment service not only in the country but also in the countries of the region. For example, we have started air units, which are among the largest projects being carried out in the country, in partnership with a Chinese company. In addition to our activities in the field of rotary equipment in the energy sector, we supply equipment for utility plants and steel processing in other industries in the country, such as steel, and we are currently carrying out EPC projects in this field. We are also active in the field of energy optimization in energy and steel industry plants.”
This industrial activist stated: “Petroteam Company is both a representative of reputable international brands and a manufacturer of rotary equipment. In total, we are active in four areas: EPC projects, manufacturing and procurement of rotary equipment, which is part of the Ministry of Petroleum’s vendor list, and in the field of service and parts manufacturing.”
Referring to the construction of Air Separation Units (ASU) and cold boxes by Petroteam Company, Kouhi emphasized: “In addition to building air separation units, which save up to 20 percent in foreign currency compared to their foreign counterparts, and importing some of the equipment and technical knowledge, we are responsible for implementing these units.”
The CEO of Petroteam said: Petroteam is also strongly active in the field of exporting technical and engineering services, and exporting equipment, parts, and services to neighboring countries, directly and indirectly.
Referring to the important issue of optimization projects, Kouhi emphasized: “Given the energy crisis in the country, the authorities should help us carry out such projects because optimization projects have not been a priority for the country for years, but now it is time for these projects to become the country’s top priority. Since efficiency and optimization of rotating equipment are very important and energy-intensive in the energy industry, we must work on their efficiency.”
Unfortunately, this situation has been neglected and ignored for years. Officials in the field of efficiency and optimization must take it seriously, and Petroteam is ready to offer its solutions for optimizing projects that are under implementation or plants that have been implemented with poor quality.
