Shiraz Petrochemical has maintained high standards in production and quality control and has taken effective steps toward the sustainability and development of the petrochemical industry.

Shiraz Petrochemical Company, as the first production complex of Iran’s petrochemical industry, has played a key role in supplying the country’s petrochemical feedstocks and, through continuous expansion of its production capacity, has succeeded in producing high-quality products across several areas.

The company’s main products include ammonia, urea, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, methanol, argon, and liquid nitrogen fertilizer (UAN), which have wide applications in the agricultural, chemical, and industrial sectors.

Given the importance of securing feedstocks for production processes—such as natural gas and water—Shiraz Petrochemical has strengthened its position among the country’s and the world’s largest producers and suppliers of these materials.

By continuing to develop projects and commissioning new units, the company plays an active role in meeting domestic needs and exporting petrochemical products.

The quality and purity of Shiraz Petrochemical’s products are ensured through precise analyses and the use of advanced laboratory instruments. Various devices—such as UV-Vis spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs (GC), FT-IR instruments, atomic absorption spectrometers, and Karl Fischer titrators—are employed to examine chemical composition, impurities, and physical and chemical properties.
