Shazand Petrochemical Company managed to earn 34,534 billion and 319 million rials in revenue from the sale of its products in the month ending January 2025, which is an increase of 28% compared to the same period last year. Compared to the previous month, the company’s monthly revenue grew by 14%, while the revenue earned last month amounted to 26,850 billion and 38 million rials.
Among the products supplied, the exported hydrocarbon A80 product, with a share of 8,334 billion and 715 million rials, equivalent to 24 percent of total revenue, played a significant role in realizing operating income in January. Next, the two products, diethyl hexanol and polypropylene, which were sold for 4,484 billion and 738 million rials and 3,979 billion and 93 million rials, respectively, ranked second and third in terms of highest sales value.
Review of production and sales
Shazand Petrochemical Company’s production reached 143,136 tons in the first month of January of this year, of which 66,996 tons of products were sold, accounting for 46 percent of production. This is while in the same month last year, the company succeeded in producing 157,368 tons of products and selling 70,947 tons of products, accounting for 45 percent of production. The company’s production in the previous month (Azar 1403/November 2024) was 129,275 tons, and the company’s sales volume in the previous month was 62,254 tons.
It should be noted that the export hydrocarbon A80 product, with a production volume of 19,356 tons, had the largest share in the production volume for the month of January 1403. Also, the highest sales volume of 18,765 tons was allocated to the export hydrocarbon A80 product.
Sales Rate
This month, the highest product sales rate, at 8,334 billion and 715 million rials, was for the exported hydrocarbon product A80 with the highest sales rate. This rate has experienced a 43 percent increase compared to the previous month, which was 5,789 billion and 556 million rials. The sales rate of this product this month increased by 67 percent compared to the same period last year, which was 4,962 billion and 265 million rials.
