Rahbord Energy: Dr. Selajegheh, the vice president and head of the country’s department of environment, made the comments while visiting the Shazand petrochemical complex.
He added that Shazand Petrochemical Company is one of the complexes that has adopted a good and positive approach to environmental protection.
He also noted that it is one of the most successful complexes in the country in terms of green space.
He further highlighted that recycling production waste water and using waste capacities are other effective measures of Shazand Petrochemical.
According to Salajegheh, a contract has been concluded between Shazand Petrochemical and Tehran Cement Factory in the department of environment, according to which the limestone waste of the Shazand Petrochemical Complex that will be used in the cement production process will be sent to the Tehran cement factory.
