Dr. Hamidreza Khalili, CEO of the Investment and Development Group of Downstream Industries of PGPIG (Petrol) said the holding company will utilize all its supportive capacities to accelerate the operation of the second phase.
During the visit of Dr. Hamidreza Khalili, CEO of the Investment and Development Group of Downstream Industries of PGPIG (Petrol), to the Kermanshah Petrochemical Complex, the progress of the second phase project of this company was reviewed, and the full accompaniment of PGPIG for the completion of this national plan was emphasized.
In this meeting, Dr. Kiani, acting head of Kermanshah Petrochemical, presented a report on the production status, export markets, and financial challenges of the project, requesting special attention from shareholders to complete the second phase and create new production capacity for urea and ammonia.
The CEO of Petrol, while appreciating the efforts of the employees and managers of the complex, considered Kermanshah Petrochemical as one of the important investment arms of PGPIG and, referring to the strategic role of this project in food security and the development of western Iran, stated: These projects are lasting investments for the country’s future, and the holding will employ all its supportive capacities to accelerate the operation of the second phase.
During this visit, the necessity of resolving existing challenges, including financing, updating order registrations, and reducing gas outages, was also emphasized so that the second phase project can enter production as soon as possible.
