The award, presented during the tenure of Dr. Seyed Noroullah Mirashrafi, further recognizes Tabriz Petrochemical’s performance in organizational excellence and its continued efforts to improve operational and management standards.
The award ceremony was held at the Tabriz Petrochemical complex in the presence of Engineer Bosaghzadeh, Chairman of the Policy Council of the Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award; Engineer Ashrafzadeh, Chairman of the Award’s Scientific Committee; and members of the evaluation delegation.
Engineer Zarei, Deputy of Operations and Head of the Tabriz Petrochemical Complex, also attended the ceremony, along with company managers, department heads and members of the company’s excellence team.
Before the ceremony, the visiting delegation paid tribute to the unknown martyr commemorated at the complex. The guests then toured the production units, development projects—including the heavy polyethylene project—and facilities that had been damaged at the Tabriz Petrochemical complex.
Assessment based on the EFQM 2025 model
The Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award is based on the EFQM 2025 model, with participating companies assessed across a broad range of organizational excellence criteria.
According to the award organizers, Tabriz Petrochemical’s performance was evaluated in areas including organizational leadership, financial management, process management, stakeholder engagement and the effective use of internal capabilities.
The recognition reflects the company’s continued efforts in organizational development, operational improvement and sustainable value creation within Iran’s petrochemical industry.
Crystal Trophy presented to Tabriz Petrochemical
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Crystal Trophy and the highest distinction of the 12th Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award were presented to Tabriz Petrochemical Company.
The company also received a commemorative plaque signed by Dr. Hassan Abbaszadeh, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and CEO of the National Petrochemical Company of Iran.
The latest recognition marks the third consecutive year that Tabriz Petrochemical has received the Crystal Trophy, highlighting its continued participation in the Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award and its performance against the award’s organizational excellence criteria.
