Mirashrafi received the award at the Sixth National Conference of Successful Managers, where senior executives were recognized for their management performance and contribution to value creation and organizational development.
The recognition came as Tabriz Petrochemical navigated a challenging operating environment marked by a major turnaround, war-related restrictions, supply-chain disruptions and other operational difficulties. Despite these challenges, the company reported production of more than 800,000 tonnes and a 22% increase in total sales during the year.
The award ceremony was held on Tuesday, July 21, at the Diplomatic Hall of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the participation of government officials, senior managers, economic figures and business representatives.
According to the conference secretariat, managers were assessed against a range of criteria, including managerial performance, productivity, contribution to economic development, effective management, social responsibility, innovation and organizational value creation.
Performance behind the recognition
The recognition of Mirashrafi followed a year of significant operational activity at Tabriz Petrochemical.
During the year, the company carried out one of the largest turnarounds in the complex’s history while continuing production, sales and development programs despite supply-chain disruptions and other operational constraints.
In 2025, Tabriz Petrochemical reported production of more than 800,000 tonnes, a 22% increase in total sales value and a 34% increase in domestic sales.
The company also advanced a number of strategic projects, including its heavy polyethylene project, the ethylbenzene and styrene monomer project, energy infrastructure development, and the urban wastewater transfer and treatment project.
Other reported achievements included reductions in energy and water consumption, the development of new products and the completion of the process for listing the company’s shares on the stock exchange.

According to Tabriz Petrochemical, continued investment in development projects, process optimization, new product development and the localization of technical capabilities has supported the company’s efforts to improve efficiency and create greater value.
