Tabriz Petrochemical Company has been awarded the High Distinction in Corporate Social Responsibility and named a “Good Brand” at the Sixth Public Relations and Social Responsibility Festival in Iran.
The company’s Public Relations Director, Mohammadamin Abbaszadeh, was also named the Top Ambassador of Social and Communication Responsibility at the event.
This year’s festival placed particular emphasis on how companies respond to crises, maintain operations and manage their workforce and stakeholder communications under exceptional circumstances, including wartime conditions.
The sixth edition of the festival was held on August 17, 2026, at the Conference Center of the National Library of Iran, bringing together representatives from industrial companies, including firms active in the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.
Participating organizations were assessed against a range of criteria covering corporate social responsibility, public relations, crisis management and organizational communications.
Focus on wartime performance
Tabriz Petrochemical’s performance during the war was among the areas examined by the festival’s assessment panel.
According to the company, its performance was evaluated based on production continuity, management of operational activities and its response to crisis conditions. The company said it maintained operations during the period, with production experiencing only limited disruption.
The assessment also covered the company’s approach to human resources management and its communication with employees and other stakeholders during the crisis.
At the closing ceremony, Abbaszadeh received the High Distinction in Social Responsibility on behalf of Tabriz Petrochemical. He was also recognized as the Top Ambassador of Social and Communication Responsibility.
The festival recognized companies and professionals whose performance reflected an emphasis on social responsibility, organizational communication and business continuity under challenging conditions.
