This equipment plays a key role in production stability, extending equipment life, and reducing unplanned shutdowns.
Continuing the path toward industrial self-sufficiency and relying on the indigenous expertise of domestic specialists, the strategic “De-coke Drum Vessel” of the olefin unit of Tabriz Petrochemical Company, after completing the design, manufacturing, technical testing, and quality-control stages, was successfully installed and commissioned at the complex.
Manufactured through engineering redesign, using the technical capabilities of domestic specialists and based on the unit’s licensing requirements, this equipment plays a key role in maintaining the stability of olefin-unit production. By managing and removing coke deposits during the process, the “De-coke Drum” helps maintain operating efficiency, extend equipment life, reduce unplanned shutdowns, and enhance process safety; it is considered one of the important components in ensuring continuous, stable production in this unit.
The domestic manufacture of this equipment, in addition to enhancing the complex’s technical and engineering capabilities, resulted in significant foreign-exchange savings and a substantial reduction in implementation costs, serving as a successful example of reliance on domestic capabilities on the path toward sustainable development of the country’s petrochemical industry.
