Shazand Petrochemical Company registered record-breaking shifts

The company’s net profit rose from 274 billion tomans in last fiscal year to about 3.4 thousand billion tomans in 2025-2026. This means the company has increased its profitability by 1,130%.

The annual general assembly of Shazand Petrochemical Company was held with 84.7% shareholder attendance on July 15 at the Conference Center of the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, and at the end, a cash dividend of 1,100 rials per share was approved. This assembly was held while, despite a 12.5% decline in production under the influence of overhaul, the halt in gasoline exports, and logistical constraints, the company increased its operating income in 2025-2026 by 22% to about 49 thousand billion tomans.

Abbas Karimi , the CEO of the company stated at the assembly that the company’s operating income witnessed a 22% increase from 40 thousand billion tomans to about 49 thousand billion tomans. Gross profit also had an extraordinary jump and rose from 1.8 thousand billion tomans to about 3.5 thousand billion tomans, which indicates a 1,792% growth and a significant improvement in product profit margins or the optimal management of cost of goods sold relative to income. Karimi added: the company’s operating profit experienced a remarkable increase from about 93 billion tomans to about 3.1 thousand billion tomans, which reflects a 3,229% growth, showing that the company has brought its production and operating costs under strict control and has multiplied its efficiency compared to 2024-2025.

Meanwhile, the company’s net profit rose from 274 billion tomans in last fiscal year to about 3.4 thousand billion tomans in 2025-2026. This means the company has increased its profitability by 1,130%.

The company’s net profit per share (EPS) also increased from 119 rials to 1,970 rials, which is considered a very positive fundamental transformation for shareholders.
