Kharg petrochemical company has published its 11 – month activities until the end of February 2026 . According to the report , in the current fiscal year the company produced 902 thousands of its products . The sales amount of this company is 874 thousand tons, and the amount of sales is accompanied by 20.7 billion tomans with a growth of nearly 52 % compared to the corresponding period last year which was 13.7 billion tomans. This growth of operating income strengthens the position of Kharg petrochemical company among the great exporters of the petrochemical industry .
Kharg petrochemical company produced 90 thousand tons of products in February 2026 which is 10 percent higher than the same time in last year.
The company’s sales volume hit 59 thousand tons, which is 1367 percent higher than the corresponding period last year .
Kharg petrochemical company registered 2587 billion tomans in February . The study of sales combination shows that methanol is still the main product of company’s income, so that in February, 1205 billion tomans are allocated to this product . This revenues amounts to 2.5 trillion tomans over the same period last year.
It should be mentioned that the target of the production of 1050 thousand tons is the target of sales of 1050 thousand tons and the amount of sale will be 25 thousand billion tomans.
One of the main points of the report is the full reliance on export markets. According to the published data, the internal sales of the company from April 2025 till March 2026 were zero and all products were exported as export. This indicates that the financial performance of the company is directly affected by the conditions of world markets and export rates.
Increasing trend of product prices is observed. The average rate of methanol sales increased by 50 percent this year compared to the same period last year, which played an important role in the growth of company operating income.
The overall study of the report shows that in the year 2025, by benefiting from export advantage, increasing world rates and relative stability of production could record one of the best income periods. Due to the high proportion of methanol in the basket of sales and full dependence on exports , the continuation of this process in the coming months is also linked to the conditions of international markets .
