Isfahan Refinery is building 300 MW solar power plant in Shahreza in order to help the government reduce energy imbalance. The CEO and member of the board of directors of Isfahan Oil Refining Company said in order to help the government reduce energy imbalance, the 300 MW solar power plant in Shahreza is being built with the efforts of Isfahan Refinery.

Gholamreza Bagheri Dizaj made the comments at a meeting for signing a memorandum of understanding for the construction of the power plant with the participation of a Chinese investor.

He noted that the company is trying to put the first phase of the power plant into operation with a capacity of 50 megawatts by the beginning of 2025 and increase the capacity to 300 megawatts in the future.

 He continued the Chinese KPE company, which is executing the construction operation, has in its program the launch of 5 gigawatts of solar power plants in the Middle East and European countries.

 Bagheri Dizaj said the Isfahan Refinery has so far achieved many honors in producing gasoline, diesel, and oil derivatives for the people and the country, and in the future, it will be alongside the people and the government in the field of green and new energies.
