Shazand’s petrochemical fifth reactor fifth reactor will increase production of the ethoxylate unit

With the complete launch of this reactor, the production of the ethoxylate unit will increase by 20%, and this will help the production of new products

The CEO of Shazand Petrochemical, while attending the ethoxylate unit, visited the installation stages of the fifth reactor of this unit. Alireza Khalilinia visited the ethoxylate unit of the Shazand Petrochemical Complex and the installation stages of the fifth reactor. In this visit, which was attended by Ghasem Saki, Deputy Director of Production and Head of Shazand Petrochemical Complex, the relevant managers provided detailed explanations regarding the stages of design, construction, and installation of the fifth reactor of the ethoxylate unit.

While thanking the efforts and round-the-clock actions of the employees of the relevant units, Khalilinia demanded to speed up the launch of the fifth ethoxylate reactor and increase the production capacity. The fifth reactor of the ethoxylate unit, which was designed and built with the capabilities and technical knowledge of Shazand Petrochemical Complex specialists, was put on the agenda in order to increase the production of this unit.

With the complete launch of this reactor, the production of the ethoxylate unit will increase by 20%, and this will help the production of new products. It will also eliminate disruption in the production process of the unit.

It is worth mentioning that this unit currently produces more than 30 types of ethoxylate products. 

Shazand Petrochemical Complex with 17 process units and 6 process units produces the most diverse polymer and chemical products in the country, and the ethoxylate unit located in the third exploitation area with a capacity of 30,000 tons per year supplies the needs of a major part of the country’s pharmaceutical and detergent industries.
