Rahbord Energy: Seyyed Reza Mortazavi, the general governor of Isfahan province, has praised Isfahan Petrorefinery for constructing a 1000-megawatt solar power plant. Mortazavi made the comments during a ceremony to commemorate the construction of 1000 charitable classrooms in Isfahan province. He said the energy balance of Iran is now negative due to lack of investment in previous administrations. 1000 megawatts is one fifth the current energy consumption.
Mortazavi further noted that in the field of water, Isfahan Petrorefinery has also made great contributions and several large projects have been activated after a few years. The 700-kilometer project of water transmission from Oman sea to Isfahan, which according to previous estimates was supposed to take 11 years to complete, was completed in 1 year and 5 months through the efforts of 48 contractors.
He further added that the late president Raisi visited this project last October and emphasized that the work should proceed at the same speed. He noted the hope created in the hearts and minds of the people of Isfahan should not be destroyed. According to Mortazavi, the Martyr President started great works in Isfahan and it’s hoped they will be completed with the participation of the people in the elections.
