APGT Administration’s New Approach to Advance its Goals

APGT has taken a new approach in the area of human resources. He noted that the employees of the company are considered its assets, which can help the firm reach its designated goals

Rahbord Energy: Dr. Seyed Ali Mousavi, the director of managers’ affairs of Asalouyeh Petrochemical Green Tanks Company (APGT), said on the sidelines of the 28th Tehran International Oil and Gas Exhibition that the constant improvement of the operation of organizations is an important factor in growth plans and the development of organizations. He noted that without proper data on the progress of affairs it would be impossible to identify the challenges, the level of progress, and the areas for improvement.

He added that APGT has taken a new approach in the area of human resources. He noted that the employees of the company are considered its assets, which can help the firm reach its designated goals.

 Dr. Mousavi further emphasized that a lot has been invested to provide educational and development infrastructure to boost capacities in the area of human resources. He said APGT is among the few firms equipped with all models of human resources management. They include human resources planning based on the strategies of firms and market changes, the establishment of general, specialized, and management merit banks for jobs, merit-based evaluation centers, operation management, merit-based promotion centers, careers, raising substitutes, and the best of talents in all areas of management.

Dr. Mousavi further said that the evaluation of operations under such titles as promotion systems, determining merits, and similar processes is common in most state and private companies. He noted that proper evaluation is an effective tool, and its rational and proper implementation can help organizations reach their goals and fulfill the interests of employees. He concluded that valuable services have been implemented in this regard, which include modifying salaries and benefits, scheduled work period of employees into 14 days work & 14 days rest, timely payment of salaries, and satisfying the needs of the employees. He finally expressed his gratitude toward Mr. Batmani for his support in achieving the goals of the administration.
