After a field visit to the Esfahan Refinery’s strategic reservoir projects, Mohammad Sadegh Azimifar considered it necessary to complete the water transfer plan from the Sea of Oman as soon as possible, provide the water needed by the Esfahan Refinery, and manage consumption. He said by implementing this plan, the refinery’s annual water consumption will be within a safe margin and will not cause any disruption in production.
He then visited the gasoline complex, which recently completed its major repairs ahead of schedule due to the community’s need for fuel, with the full efforts of the refinery staff, and the distillation unit 3, which is undergoing major repairs. He also emphasized the conclusion and acceleration of the work during his visit to the KHT unit under completion, which will be put into operation in July of this year.
The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) also visited the national plan and the RHU mega project of the Esfahan Oil Refining Company (EORC) and reviewed the construction process of this huge unit.
Azimifar called for comprehensive support for this project as a priority project in the country and emphasized the realization of a monthly progress of 3%.
The CEO of NIORDC had traveled to the city for a one-day visit to the Esfahan Refinery and other companies under ٔNIORDC; the National Distribution Company, and the Esfahan Regional Pipelines and Telecommunications Company.
