Fanavaran Petrochemicals recorded a significant performance in the methanol industry in March/April 2025 with a 9% increase in production and a 140% jump in its revenue. A review of published reports shows that Fanavaran Petrochemicals succeeded in increasing its production volume in the first month of this year from 95,000 tons in March/April 2024 to 104,000 tons in March/April 2025. This production growth was achieved in a situation where this industry had experienced a different trend in the previous months.
In terms of revenue generation, the company managed to increase its revenue from 643 billion tomans in March/April last year to 1,543 billion tomans in March/April 2025, a 140 percent jump. The increase in Fanavaran’s revenue, along with its production growth, places the company at the top of the country’s methanol producers in the first month of the Iranian year.
Reports indicate that other methanol producers also performed better in March/April 2025 than last year, and experts in this field evaluate the improved production and increased revenue of Fanavaran Petrochemical, as the leader of Iranian methanol, as a sign of prosperity for this industry and other companies.
