The CEO of Isfahan oil products Distribution Company (IOPDC) has noted that Isfahan’s transportation fleet has 2,400 oil tankers and said Isfahan’s petroleum products transportation fleet ranks second as the largest fleet in the country.

Fadlallah Akbari described the Isfahan refinery as the golden refinery in the country and added that at a time when the country faces a fuel imbalance, this refinery is counted among the reliable suppliers. He considered the Shahid Mohammad Montazeri Oil Storage Facility to be the largest, most equipped, most strategic, and most mechanized oil terminal in the country, and added that this refinery provides fuel services intermittently to 23 provinces of the country and continuously to 13 provinces of the country. Up to 2,000 oil tankers are loaded at this terminal daily and dispatched to all parts of the country.

Akbari said the capacity of the Isfahan refinery and oil storage depot is an opportunity to become a quality producer of oil products, including Euro 4 gasoline and diesel, as well as an efficient distributor in Isfahan. He noted that with the consumption of diesel in Isfahan at 13 million liters per day, if this product were not produced by the Isfahan refinery with Euro 4 quality, and currently Euro 5, the fulfillment of clean air law in Isfahan would not have been possible.

The head of the transportation unit of Isfahan oil products Distribution Company (IOPDC) also noted that the missing link in the cooperation between Isfahan refining and distribution companies was a fleet that could supply fuel to the people in critical situations. He said this has been achieved by establishing the Rahbar Tarabar Energy Company, which was the result of the collaboration of these two institutions. Amir Lotfi added that the presence of capable companies such as Rata has been able to transport products such as MTBE without any challenges.

Also, the technical and operational deputy of Isfahan oil products Distribution Company (IOPDC) said that the Isfahan Refinery, with its high complexity, is one of the best refineries in the country, which has allocated a share of 400,000 barrels of the two million and five hundred thousand barrels that are refined daily.

Alireza Salimi Darani added that the largest production of Euro 4 diesel, which has now become Euro 5, is also allocated to the Isfahan refinery, and this capacity, along with the Isfahan Distribution Company, which ranks first among the 37 regions of the country, represents the achievement resulting from the cooperation of these two companies.

Salimi Darani said Isfahan has also allocated a special place in the country in terms of the oil product transportation fleet so that 150 million liters of oil products are transported daily through the Isfahan fleet. He emphasized that to solve the problem of fuel imbalance, the Isfahan Refinery and Isfahan oil products Distribution Company (IOPDC) must come together with all their might. The Rata Company will soon gain the position it deserves and be among the first and best in the country and play a special role in defense situations.
