Rahbord Energy: The CEO of Isfahan Petrorefinery Holding has referred to the start of the diesel project during the administration of Ebrahim Raeisi within 6 months and said 2400 fake items were identified and replaced in this project. Ghadiri further noted that there were several projects that had been left undone for 15 years, but they have now been concluded. He also said a 6.2 billion euro project has been defined in the Isfahan Refinery, which is equal to the amount invested in Oman and the UAE.
He also noted that in 2021/2022, the profit of the Isfahan refinery was 16 hundred thousand tomans, and within a year, it had increased to 36.2 hundred thousand tomans. Last year, this amount was raised to 41 hundred thousand tomans. Ghadiri also noted that Isfahan Petrorefinery managed to turn off the burners of the refinery for 2.5 years. He also added that Isfahan Petrorefinery has imported two refinery devices, one of which is installed in the refinery itself, and its monitors throughout the province have been installed to show that all environmental standards are observed.
He also noted that 460 projects in Isfahan Province are environmental projects and said several meetings have been held with environmental officials. Ghadiri further said those projects that cannot be operationalized in the province will be transferred to Bandar Abbas, and a 120,000-barrel refinery will be set up there.
He further noted that the record to operationalize projects has been broken and said the kerosene project, which removes 40 tons of sulfur per day, was put into operation within a year, and the Bandar Abbas refinery will be put into operation by the end of the next year. This, he said, is in line with the country’s standards.
Referring to the corporate social responsibilities (CSR) of Isfahan Refinery, Ghadiri noted that last year, the company managed to free nearly 700 prisoners and plant 1,150 acres of land, and this year another 2,000 hectares of the province’s greenery will be added.
Ghadiri also said that Isfahan Petrorefinery Holding possesses 120 hectares of land and noted that over the past years, 40% of the planted trees, which had gone dry, were replaced and the rest were irrigated. He noted that a 720-kilometer water transfer project from the Oman Sea has been implemented, and from next year, nearly 200 million cubic meters of water will come to Isfahan.
The CEO of Isfahan Petrorefinery Holding also urged Iranians to participate in presidential elections.
Dr. Ghadiri also stated that social responsibilities are one of the principles and core of Isfahan Petrorefinery Company’s work and that great projects have been implemented so far. He noted that the Petrorefinery has offered to solve the problems of the province in terms of education and culture. The CEO of Isfahan Petrorefinery Holding stated that the same path will be continued in the coming years.
