As part of the monthly ; Production Constraints meetings and with the aim of streamlining processes, accurately analyzing execution bottlenecks, and maintaining stable production, the monthly meeting of senior managers of Howeizeh Persian Gulf Gas Refinery was held under the chairmanship of the company’s CEO.
The meeting — focused on removing technical, equipment and managerial obstacles and on reviewing contractual and financial challenges — provided a platform for precise decision‑making and coordination among units.
Dr. Afshin Kiani said: our view of these meetings is not merely to identify problems; the goal is to reform structures and eliminate bottlenecks at their root. Sustainable production only makes sense when our colleagues at all organizational levels make agile, accurate decisions based on data analysis.
At the meeting, a project progress report was presented showing an overall physical progress of about 82 percent based on technical data. A large part of the delay was due to material shortages and contractor commitments. In the coordination and planning area, a special working group was formed to review technical data and execution deviations so the final project performance report can be issued in the coming days.
Financial and contractual issues and the challenges caused by price fluctuations were also examined. The CEO, stressing the need for care in contractor selection, added: any contract that leads to delays, rework, or waste of resources actually imposes an additional cost on production and must be dealt with firmly. The future of the industry belongs to organizations that pair transparency with smart decision‑making.
In conclusion, Dr. Kiani asked all specialist units, while focusing on completing the half‑finished projects, to pave the way for implementing intelligent project management systems. He said Howeizeh Gas Refinery, relying on skilled human resources and collective determination, is moving toward reliable and sustainable production.
