This company has always been a cradle of skill, initiative, and industrial self-sufficiency in Iran and has played a key role in forming the foundations of the petrochemical industry in the country.”

Emphasizing a bright future for the company, he added: “Shiraz Petrochemical has broad capacities for development. By the end of the Seventh Development Plan, we will see the implementation of new projects across this company’s value chain, one of which has already received its permit and will soon be operational. These projects will strengthen domestic production and increase national competitiveness in regional and global markets.”

Abbaszadeh, while appreciating the company’s effective management, said: “The role of informed and motivated managers in guiding Shiraz Petrochemical’s development path is prominent. Hosseinali Amiri, General Governor of Fars, also stressed the link between economy, culture, and history in regional relations, saying: “Our goal in Fars is to tie the province’s economic relations to our cultural and historical roots with Arab countries. Refining local capacities, using our geoeconomic position, and benefiting from the province’s scientific and industrial strengths are at the top of Fars’s development agenda.”

He added: “Fars is a hub of investment and industrial tourism in the country; it has mineral resources, gas reserves, and large industries. Shiraz Petrochemical holds a special place in this constellation and is a symbol of the province’s industrial identity and a leader in the development of the country’s south.”
