Revenue growth at Sharak In H1 1404 Shazand Petrochemical recorded 18,770 billion toman in revenue from product sales, a 5% increase compared with the same period last year (17,911 billion toman). This 5% growth occurred even though the company experienced a halt in exports of product A80 to Afghanistan (which accounted for 25% of past period sales) and a 40‑day production stop for extensive overhaul work — all during a 12‑day war period.
End of overhaul; start of production leap
As expected, after the large‑scale overhauls at the Shazand complex — the most extensive in the past 11 years — the plant’s output and sales volumes rose, which in turn increased Sharak’s revenues. This improvement is a hopeful sign for shareholders. Current figures show that production in most units is now above capacity, and according to forecasts and the management team’s policies and plans, this trend is expected to continue through the end of the year.
Maintaining Sharak’s sales momentum
According to the report published on Codal, Shazand Petrochemical earned 3,724 billion toman in revenue in Shahrivar, a 2% increase versus the same month last year (3,657 billion toman). Although this improvement in sales and revenue is modest, considering global market volatility and the reduced export volumes caused by the suspension of A80 shipments to Afghanistan, Shazand’s course has been properly and professionally managed.
Given the strategic importance of its products and the six‑month results, it is reasonable to expect Shazand Petrochemical to show a defensible performance through the end of the year.
