In a groundbreaking initiative that demonstrates a shared commitment to environmental protection, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the General Directorate of Environmental Protection department of Fars Province and Shiraz Petrochemical Company. The agreement paves the way for a joint effort to protect the vulnerable brown bear population in Fars Province.
The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Tajgordoon, Director General of Fars Environmental Protection department and her accompanying delegation, Mr. Babak Pourkia, CEO of Shiraz Petrochemical Company, and other senior managers of the company. Expressing his pleasure at the presence of the Director General and other officials of the Provincial Environmental Protection Department and congratulating them on the Environment Week, Mr. Pourkia referred to a comprehensive report on the environmental measures of Shiraz Petrochemical Company and continued by explaining the company’s approach in this area.
