Hojat Nazari, CEO of Sarv Oil and Gas Industries Development Company, said the company with more than 20 years of experience and production of 46 knowledge-based products, is one of the pioneers in the production of catalysts in the country. In 2023/2024, the company produced about 4 thousand tons, 25% of which was exported to countries such as Russia, Iraq, and Venezuela, etc. This is a good basis for increasing exports. The target is to be able to export 50% of the production in 2029/2030.
He noted that in the 5 years, none of the catalysts have encountered any problems and have been well received. There is a very good research organization within the Sarv Oil and Gas Company that works on new capacities and improving current products so that we can introduce new products to the market every year.
Nazari stated that years ago, producers had to wait in line to supply catalyst, even at high prices, but today, producers are relieved.
The CEO of Sarv Oil and Gas Company added that in 2020/2021 the company started exporting with low capacities of about 100 to 150 tons. If the company can increase the production capacity to 4,997 tons this year, it will have set a goal to allocate 30 percent of its production to exports. Last year, it earned about 17.18 million euros, and this year it expects this amount to reach 22 to 23 million euros.
