In a ceremony to honor exemplary workers, Abbas Karimi, CEO and member of the board of directors of Shazand Petrochemical Company, while commemorating International Labor Day and expressing condolences for the Shahid Rajaee Port incident, referred to Sharak’s future plans and said one of the main reasons for the financial imbalance in Shazand Petrochemical Company is the feed rate received. In a recent meeting with the deputy ministers of oil and members of parliament, this issue was raised and necessary correspondence has been conducted with relevant parties. He said the company is seeking to correct the feed rate through continuous follow-up.
Referring to Shazand Petrochemical Company’s goal of increasing profitability, he said last year, due to special conditions, the company’s profit margin was affected by these conditions, but with a two-year goal, the company is to achieve a normal profit margin.
Karimi referred to the company’s upcoming major repairs and stated major repairs are of particular importance and it is necessary for all colleagues to pay attention to the successful completion of these repairs and to observe safety precautions. It is worth noting that before the CEO’s speech, the vice presidents of human resources development and production made speeches regarding Labor Day and supporting this hardworking group.
At the end of the ceremony, Karimi presented a plaque of appreciation to the exemplary workers of Shazand Petrochemical Company in 2024-2025.
