In the month ending January 2025, Kharg Petrochemical managed to earn 23,529 billion and 871 million rials from the sale of its products, which experienced a 93% increase compared to the same period last year. Compared to the previous month, the company’s monthly revenue grew by 250%, while the revenue earned last month amounted to 6,716 billion and 989 million rials.
Among the products supplied, methanol played a significant role in realizing operating income in January with a share of 16,273 billion and 230 million rials, equivalent to 69% of the total revenue. Butane and propane, which sold for 3,779 billion and 455 million rials, respectively, were in the second and third places in terms of the highest sales value.
Review of the state of production and sales
Kharg Petrochemical Company’s production reached 82,405 tons in the first month of this year, of which 99,268 tons of products were sold, with a volume greater than production. This is while in the same month last year, the company managed to produce 96,245 tons of products and sold 89,477 tons of products, with a share of 92 percent of production.
The company’s production volume last month (December 2024) was 80,252 tons, and the company’s sales volume last month was 57,231 tons. It should be noted that methanol, with a production volume of 55.18 tons, accounted for the largest share of the production volume in the month of December 2024, and the highest sales volume of 79.26 tons was allocated to methanol.
Sales Rate
This month, the highest product sales rate was 16,273 billion and 230 million rials for the methanol product with the highest sales rate. This rate has experienced an increase of 3205 percent compared to the previous month, which was 492 billion and 377 million rials. The sales rate of this product this month increased by 145 percent compared to the same period last year, which was 6,639 billion and 885 million rials.
