On the sidelines of the signing ceremony of the company’s research and technology cooperation agreement with the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, Seyed Mohammad Reza Miri Lavasani, CEO of Pardis Petrochemical, said that the company is present at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry and a memorandum of understanding has been signed between Pardis Petrochemical and the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry. This memorandum covers various fields, especially the field of optimizing energy consumption.
He said that the challenge of energy imbalance in Iran has become a very big challenge, and based on the consultations and negotiations with the head of the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, it has been realized that Iranian companies have great potential in the field of optimizing energy consumption. The companies have presented suggestions that were welcomed and considered. The companies can provide the country with a service in the field of optimizing energy consumption.
Miri Lavasani, pointing out that the first and main part of this memorandum is about energy optimization, added that the second part of the memorandum is actually about increasing productivity. He noted that RIPI has conducted studies in the field of increasing productivity and increasing production efficiency and has announced that it can help in this area. It’s also been announced that the company cannot produce more than 106%, even if the gas feed is determined and allocated to us for 330 days. Therefore, by considering these factors, it will submit a proposal in order to optimize production.
The CEO of Pardis Petrochemical further said that it’s been decided that RIPI would submit a proposal in the maintenance, repair, and fuel management sector so that a contract would also be submitted in that area, especially in the corrosion sector. Furthermore, software is set to be produced as predictive maintenance and repair management that could help in the maintenance sector. He said the company has turned to domestic capabilities and advanced part of this software internally at Pardis Petrochemical, and by using the potential RIPI, it can have repair and maintenance management software as soon as possible.
Miri Lavasani said that the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry also has good potential in the field of catalysts, and currently, the petrochemical catalyst supply for Pardis is being done by knowledge-based companies. The Research Institute of Petroleum Industry has also announced its readiness to do this work, which is also welcome. In the field of HSE cooperation, given the potential, 65-year history, and the expert staff that RIPI has, the initiative is also welcomed.
