The performance of Khark Petrochemical Company in December shows a relative growth in production alongside a decrease in sales volume and operating income.
Khark Petrochemical Company’s production in that period increased by 19% compared to the previous month to 80,252 tons, although it decreased by 20% compared to December last year and by 11% compared to the average production of the past 8 months.
Khark’s sales volume decreased by 35% this month to 57,221 tons, and an income of 672 billion tomans was achieved. The main reason for the decrease in sales volume can be considered the lack of LPG supply this month.
Khark Petrochemical Company’s production volume decreased by 7% to 801,996 tons during the past 9 months, and 79% of the production plan was covered.
Similarly, sales volume decreased by 4% to 811,547 tons, and 77% of the plan was covered. Despite production and sales, operating income has also increased by 14% to 28.11 trillion tomans due to the growth in the exchange rate.
