The Chief Justice of Bushehr Province visited the Kangan Petrorefinery site and the Kangan Petrochemical Development, Soroush Mehestan, Negin Mehestan, and Alay Mehestan companies, reviewed their production status, implementation of development projects, and workforce situation, and emphasized the judiciary’s support for production enterprises.
Dr. Mehrangiz, heading a delegation of judicial officials from the southern counties of Bushehr Province, conducted a more-than-five-hour visit and closely reviewed production and export processes, progress on value-chain completion projects, development plans, and measures taken to increase production capacity and reduce costs.
During the visit, the complex’s environmental projects, including flare-gas collection and industrial wastewater recycling projects, were also examined—measures that, in addition to reducing pollution, play an effective role in optimizing energy consumption and increasing productivity.
At a meeting with Kangan Petrorefinery managers and employees, the Chief Justice of Bushehr Province expressed appreciation for the efforts made, received a report on the conditions of employees and contractors and the complex’s supportive approaches toward its human capital, and said: “The Head of the Judiciary has always emphasized supporting production, and supporting production and producers is the most important reason for my presence in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.”
Referring to the collection of flare gases from the country’s largest refinery by Kangan Petrorefinery, Mehrangiz added: Flare gas collection has always been a concern of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution and was among the resolutions of the Judiciary Chief’s visit to Bushehr Province. It is therefore appropriate to commend Dr. Javad Fallahian, the CEO, and all the company’s personnel for carrying out this important and value-creating initiative.
At the end, while thanking Kangan Petro-Refinery’s development-oriented approach to its specialized field and its acceleration of unfinished projects, he stated: “This company has performed well and acceptably both in the area of social responsibility and in employing local personnel.”
The CEO of Kangan Petro-Refinery also praised the justice-oriented approach of the judiciary in Bushehr Province at the meeting and said: “My colleagues at the Petro-Refinery complex are always striving to make a useful and effective contribution to the country’s economy.”
Seyyed Javad Fallahian, explaining the measures taken to complete the value chain at the company, added: “Preventing the sale of raw materials has always been one of the most important programs of this company’s management team. Over the past year, despite the sanctions and the imposed war, my specialized colleagues have brought Kangan Petro-Refinery’s HD unit and Kangan Petrochemical Development unit to the commissioning and production stage, which, God willing, will soon be officially inaugurated in a ceremony.”
At the end, emphasizing service to the people of Kangan County as part of social responsibility, he said: “Planting 250 hectares of mangrove forest, equipping Imam Khomeini Hospital in Kangan county, constructing an MRI building, upgrading the hospital’s mammography and laundry departments, and equipping the clinic in Bank City are only a small part of this company’s completed initiatives.”
